Head of CoE Field Services

About the role

As the Head of CoE Field Services you will lead the global Field Services Centre of Excellence, shaping strategy and driving standardisation across all regions to boost customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global strategy for the Field Services CoE aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and maintain standardised processes, tools and methodologies for field service delivery worldwide.
• Identify, develop and roll‑out best practices in resource planning, scheduling, execution and reporting.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using data analytics, customer feedback and industry trends.
• Collaborate with regional field service teams, product lines and other stakeholders to ensure adoption of CoE initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a team of specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Define, monitor and report key performance indicators to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and digital solutions for field service.
• Oversee the CoE budget and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in field service management or operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of establishing and leading a Centre of Excellence or similar global function.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Data‑driven decision‑making with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
