Head of Growth, Margin Trading

About the role

Lead growth for margin trading on Kraken Pro, the highest revenue‑generating product, with CEO‑level ownership of the business area. Own the strategy to acquire high‑net‑worth individual traders and drive margin growth as a senior individual contributor.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute acquisition strategy for high‑net‑worth traders, including winning them from competitors.
• Partner with the VIP team to shape sourcing, onboarding, and activation of high‑value traders.
• Mobilize performance marketing, organic, creative design, and internal teams to drive margin growth.
• Define positioning, messaging, and offers that resonate with sophisticated, high‑volume traders.
• Set growth targets and own the funnel from lead to funded account to active margin trader.
• Run fast experiments across channels, programs, and incentives, scaling what works.
• Bring trader insights back to Product to shape the margin roadmap.

Required profile

• 4+ years in growth, product marketing, or VIP/high‑value customer acquisition.
• Proven track record acquiring high‑net‑worth traders or players in crypto, trading, or gaming.
• Experience winning customers away from competitors and converting them into long‑term, high‑value users.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams without formal authority and drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong grasp of leveraged and margin trading and high‑volume trader decision‑making.
• Data‑driven approach owning funnel metrics, revenue impact, and ROI on acquisition spend.
• High agency, scrappiness, and clear communication across marketing, VIP, product, and leadership.
