Head Teacher – Early Childhood (Tiny)

About the role

We are looking for a Head Teacher to lead our Tiny class, designing and delivering engaging early‑learning experiences for young children. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment and working closely with families to support each child’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans and activities tailored for young children.
• Assess and monitor student progress and development.
• Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student wellbeing and progress.
• Identify and act on safeguarding and health‑and‑safety concerns.
• Promote respect, inclusion and a caring community within the classroom.
• Apply school policies and procedures consistently.
• Contribute to responsible use of school resources and financial stewardship.
• Engage in continuous professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• Teaching certification and proven experience in early childhood education.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
