Home Health Aide Scheduler / Homecare Coordinator

About the role

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a highly organized Home Health Aide Scheduler to coordinate schedules with licensed agencies, ensure proper coverage, and maintain smooth daily operations for home health aides.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain schedules for Home Health Aides based on client needs and availability.
• Assign caregivers to shifts, handle call‑outs, cancellations, and last‑minute changes.
• Communicate with licensed agencies, RN case managers, clients, and care teams regarding scheduling.
• Monitor attendance, follow up on missed or late shifts, and keep accurate real‑time records.
• Identify and resolve scheduling issues in collaboration with agencies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in homecare coordination, HHA scheduling, or healthcare administration.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and handle urgent scheduling issues.

Required skills

• Experience with scheduling software and databases.
• Familiarity with HHA Exchange or similar homecare scheduling platforms.
