Hospital Pharmaceutical Marketing Specialist

About the role

At Baxter, you will join a purpose‑driven team that shapes the marketing of hospital‑focused pharmaceutical products. The role supports product management, new‑product launches, congress and educational event execution, and the development of segmentation, targeting and tactical plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercial plans including segmentation, targeting, product positioning and tactical actions in partnership with the Business Unit Manager.
• Propose marketing and commercial initiatives to support financial targets and improve forecast accuracy.
• Lead pre‑launch and launch execution of new products at the country level, including forecasts, change controls, marketing materials and sales training.
• Implement market research for new and existing products and conduct competitive and price analyses.
• Review sales trends weekly/monthly to identify growth opportunities for the sales team.
• Define congress strategy and educational programs such as hands‑on labs and scientific events.
• Develop marketing materials aligned with the commercial strategy and manage the marketing budget.
• Support the sales team with promotional material, events, equipment and samples.
• Coordinate with external agencies for briefings and material adjustments, and manage promotional material approvals.
• Maintain inventory of promotional materials, write promotional cycle guides, and manage grants, change control and related processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience within hospital pharmaceutical products.
• Experience in product management, new product launches, and execution of congresses and educational events.
• Ability to plan and perform segmentation, targeting and tactical business plans.
• Advanced English is a plus.
