HR Advisor – Spanish‑Speaking Latin America

About the role

Sovos is looking for an HR Advisor to support Spanish‑speaking employees across Latin America. You will partner with managers and employees to deliver HR programs, drive engagement and ensure compliance with local employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to design and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives across the region.
• Lead rollout of HR programs such as wellness, community investment, engagement events, internships and rotation programs.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries on benefits, payroll, HR policies and employee‑relations matters.
• Conduct entrance and exit interviews, analyse trends and champion policy and cultural changes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local employment law and administer leave of absence processes.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Operations and Business Partnering to support recruitment and internal promotions.
• Leverage AI tools to improve employee communications, streamline HR workflows and identify engagement patterns.

Required profile

• Solid HR experience in an advisory or partnering capacity, preferably supporting a regional or distributed workforce.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills across cultures.
• Deep understanding of Latin American employment law and ability to apply it consistently.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, build trusted relationships and drive programs from concept to completion.
• People‑first mindset with a track record of supporting employee engagement and resolving relations issues.

Required skills

• Experience using AI‑assisted workflows and HR technology platforms.
• Proficiency with HR data analytics tools to generate insights.
