HR Lead for Latin America

About the role

GeologicAI is seeking an HR Lead for the Latin America region to act as the primary HR partner for leadership and employees. The role covers full‑cycle recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and the design of people processes that support the employee lifecycle across multiple LATAM jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor to LATAM leadership on all employee matters.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees, triaging inquiries and escalating when needed.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruiting for LATAM positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding to ensure a consistent experience across locations.
• Administer payroll in compliance with local legislation for all LATAM employees.
• Oversee employee benefits for Chilean staff and act as the local benefits contact.
• Conduct structured employee listening sessions and deliver summarized insights to leadership.
• Support or lead the creation and documentation of regional HR processes and programs where gaps exist.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and labour standards across all LATAM jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or lead in a multi‑country environment, preferably within LATAM.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and employment law across Latin American countries.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both regional teams and corporate headquarters.
• Ability to identify early signs of operational friction and proactively address people risks.
