HSE Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure & Data Center Project (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for an HSE Coordinator to lead health, safety and environmental activities for a critical infrastructure and data‑center project in the Santiago Metropolitan Area. The role is on‑site and part of an ongoing tender process, requiring the promotion of a strong safety culture throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise the project HSE plan, ensuring compliance with all standards.
• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify safe working conditions and proper use of PPE.
• Organise HSE inductions, training sessions and awareness activities for all personnel.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and unsafe conditions, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
• Maintain up‑to‑date HSE records, including statistics, incident reports, inspections and internal audits.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to guarantee adherence to HSE procedures.
• Participate in coordination meetings and safety committees as the HSE representative.
• Support environmental management tasks such as permits, waste management and regulatory compliance.
• Promote continuous‑improvement initiatives related to safety performance and environmental practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Prevention Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in HSE management on construction, industrial, infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of Chilean occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Relevant certifications in risk prevention or safety management (e.g., SNS, Sernageomin) are a plus.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish is considered an advantage.
• Availability to work on‑site in the Santiago Metropolitan Area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience using HSE management systems.
