About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Immigration Paralegal to join a US‑based law firm’s immigration team. The role involves supporting attorneys throughout the lifecycle of immigration cases, handling documentation, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients in both Spanish and English.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file immigration forms with USCIS and EOIR.
- Draft and submit FOIA requests to relevant agencies.
- Assist attorneys in detention and bond cases, gathering and organizing evidence for bond hearings.
- Communicate with clients compassionately in Spanish and English.
- Maintain organized, up‑to‑date case files and records.
Required profile
- Intermediate proficiency with immigration forms and procedures (USCIS, EOIR, FOIA).
- Advanced fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English (C1/C2 level).
- Experience in case file management and record‑keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and document organization.
Required skills
- Proficiency with USCIS online portal.
- Proficiency with EOIR online portal.
- Experience using the Prima Law case management system.
