Industrial Integration Engineer – Operational Technology

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Integration Engineer specialized in Operational Technology (OT) to lead the delivery of warehouse and industrial integration projects. The role focuses on hands‑on implementation of warehouse automation, control systems, and enterprise‑level connectivity, ensuring seamless operation across multiple technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and commission Warehouse Operational Technology solutions, including WMS and YMS.
• Integrate PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and MES environments with existing infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain OT networking (WAN/LAN, wireless, industrial protocols) and edge‑to‑cloud connectivity.
• Develop APIs and enterprise system integrations for platforms such as Manhattan SCALE or Körber/HighJump.
• Deploy RFID, barcode, rugged mobile devices, label printing, and Mobile Device Management solutions (e.g., SOTI).
• Validate and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering warehouse technology and industrial integration projects.
• Strong execution and delivery capabilities in complex engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently without managerial responsibilities.
