Industrial Integration Engineer (OT)

About the role

This position is focused on hands‑on delivery of warehouse technology and industrial integration projects. It is not a managerial role, but requires strong execution and delivery capabilities in integration and engineering environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and commission Warehouse Operational Technology (OT) solutions.
• Integrate and configure Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Yard Management Systems (YMS).
• Deploy automation and control systems including PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI and MES environments.
• Work with Manhattan SCALE, Körber/HighJump or similar WMS platforms.
• Develop APIs and manage enterprise system integrations.
• Configure OT networking (WAN/LAN, wireless, industrial networking) and enable edge computing with cloud connectivity.
• Implement RFID, barcode technologies, rugged mobile devices, label printing and Mobile Device Management solutions such as SOTI.
• Apply industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT.

• Hands‑on experience delivering warehouse technology and industrial integration projects.
• Strong execution and delivery focus, with the ability to work independently.
• Technical mindset without managerial responsibilities.
