Intermediate & Senior Material Handling Engineers

About the role

We are looking for Intermediate and Senior Material Handling Engineers to join our engineering team. The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanically functioning equipment such as heat, gas, water and steam systems. You will work on product development, engineering solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts by coordinating subcontractors and suppliers and serving as primary contact.
• Develop products and solutions by analysing customer needs and delivering engineered outcomes.
• Design engineering solutions, define feasibility testing, and supervise validation activities.
• Assist in drafting engineering standards and specifications under senior guidance.
• Identify process shortcomings and drive improvement through change‑management programs.
• Conduct engineering inspections, evaluate quality and compliance, and recommend remedial actions.
• Support project delivery within established project management plans.
• Provide guidance on knowledge‑management systems and assist colleagues in their use.
• Contribute to process design engineering, specifying methods, equipment and plant requirements.
• Help senior staff manage client and customer relationships using relevant systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• General engineering experience sufficient to handle most situations and advise others.
• Demonstrated ability to work under supervision of senior engineers and collaborate across functions.
