Intermediate/Senior WebApp Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

We are hiring a Full‑Stack Software Engineer, intermediate to senior, to join our small remote team at FrontLobby. You will plan, design and ship features across our Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript and MySQL platform while working closely with AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Plan before building: break problems down, read existing code, write short plans and choose the best architectural approach.
• Direct AI agents such as Claude Code, providing clear context, scoped tasks and intervening when the output drifts.
• Review all changes—whether produced by a teammate or an AI agent—to catch bugs, security gaps and design flaws.
• Make architectural decisions on data models, API boundaries and code placement.
• Turn design prototypes into production‑ready code that meets testing and security standards.
• Write automated tests, run agents against them and verify behaviour in the running application.
• Improve AI workflows by maintaining project instructions, skills and review processes.
• Own releases: ship features, monitor them in production and fix any issues.
• Collaborate with product, design and support teams, explaining trade‑offs in plain language.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building production web applications across the full stack.
• Strong judgment and architectural instincts, preferring well‑reviewed small changes over large untested ones.
• Comfortable working independently in a small remote team during Eastern‑Time business hours.
• Excellent written English for plans, prompts, pull‑request descriptions and reviews.
