IoT Software Engineer (Python/Linux) – Remote

About the role

As an IoT Software Engineer you will design and implement secure remote‑access and automated test‑bench platforms for a large fleet of autonomous vehicles. Each vehicle is treated as a remote Ubuntu server connected via LTE, operating over high‑latency and unreliable networks, and the solution must scale from hundreds to tens of thousands of units.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure remote‑access infrastructure for the vehicle fleet.
• Develop scalable networking solutions and role‑based authentication systems.
• Automate hardware test benches and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure fast recovery and regression testing across the fleet.
• Manage OTA updates and perform deep Linux administration on remote Ubuntu servers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with IoT fleet management.
• Deep Linux administration knowledge, including OTA updates on Ubuntu.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
