Jefe de Operaciones – Sector Avícola

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Operations Manager to lead daily production activities in a solid poultry company. The role focuses on driving productivity, quality, bio‑security and continuous improvement while ensuring resources are used efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations, meeting targets for productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, bio‑security and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage high‑performance teams, fostering collaboration and results‑orientation.
• Analyze operational and production indicators to identify optimization opportunities.
• Oversee efficient use of resources, inventory, supplies and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, animal welfare and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and proper functioning of facilities, equipment and strategic assets.
• Contribute to profitability and sustainability through efficient, results‑driven management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agronomy, Animal Production or related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the poultry, livestock or agro‑industrial sector.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing productive operations.
• Strong knowledge of poultry production, bio‑security, sanitary management and performance indicators.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Willingness to work in Santiago de Veraguas.

• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
