Junior Project Manager for Keet P2P Platform

About the role

The Junior Project Manager will support the Keet engine team, coordinating work across sprints, releases, and distributed engineers. You will help translate priorities into clear plans and ensure smooth delivery of the peer‑to‑peer video‑call and chat application.

Key responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps up‑to‑date.
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async).
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to surface dependencies early.
• Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries.
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, routing them to the appropriate engineers.
• Identify risks and blockers early and assist the team in resolving them.
• Maintain internal documentation and processes, ensuring they are tidy and easy to follow.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role (including internships or open‑source contributions).
• Excellent written English communication; able to explain technical progress clearly and concisely.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first environment.

Required skills

• Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Basic understanding of networking or distributed‑system concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication).
• Exposure to JavaScript/Node.js or experience working alongside a development team.
