LATAM Administration & Secretarial – Technical & Clinical Support

About the role

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division is seeking a LATAM Administration & Secretarial professional to provide technical and clinical support for Velys Digital Surgery hardware across Latin America. The role combines field service, customer liaison and administrative duties to ensure successful hardware deployment and optimal operating‑room performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise installation of Velys Digital Surgery hardware for internal and external events and operating rooms.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, field actions and software updates on capital equipment.
• Train customers, sales and clinical teams on hardware usage and application.
• Serve as first point of contact for technical inquiries, troubleshooting and on‑site support during new product introductions or complex procedures.
• Manage customer expectations, handle technical complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Visit operating rooms regularly to verify optimal usage, storage and maintenance of equipment.
• Consult with sales and capital equipment teams on optimal hardware setup for events and surgeries.

Required profile

• Strong background in technical or clinical support for medical devices, preferably orthopaedic hardware.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel across the LATAM region and work onsite in hospitals and clinics.
