Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will support the Ujina Growth Project in the Tarapacá Region by handling logistics tasks of moderate complexity. The role ensures safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery of materials and equipment required for the mining expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with internal and external parties to guarantee safe and on‑time delivery from supplier to destination.
• Enter shipment milestone data into Bechtel's Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) and Transport Management system for real‑time visibility.
• Assist the Project Logistics Supervisor as needed.
• Provide information to the Contract Administrator for claim submission and resolution with Logistics Service Providers.
• Collect and deliver data for logistics studies, including site visits to supplier facilities.
• Integrate security requirements into all logistics activities.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating logistics for large‑scale projects.
• Ability to work with digital supply‑chain tools and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow security protocols.
• Effective communication with suppliers, internal teams, and service providers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bechtel's Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS).
• Familiarity with Transport Management systems.
