Logistics Specialist – Project Support

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will support the Ujina Growth Project by managing the movement of materials and equipment required for the mining expansion. Reporting to the Project Logistics Supervisor and working closely with Bechtel Global Logistics, the role ensures safe, timely and cost‑effective delivery of goods throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with internal teams and external logistics service providers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Enter and maintain shipment milestone data in Bechtel’s Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) and Transport Management System for full visibility.
• Assist the Project Logistics Supervisor with ad‑hoc tasks and reporting.
• Provide information to the Contract Administrator for claim submission and resolution with Logistics Service Providers.
• Gather data and conduct site visits to supplier facilities to support logistics studies.
• Integrate security requirements into all logistics activities and ensure compliance.
• Plan, develop, and review logistics plans and schedules in alignment with project milestones.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating logistics for large‑scale engineering or mining projects.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different locations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in digital systems.
• Willingness to travel to supplier sites and project locations as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bechtel Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS).
• Proficiency with Transport Management System (TMS) platforms.
