Manager Transportation Control & Billing

About the role

The Transportation Control & Billing Manager will own and optimise transportation spend and financial performance across a complex, omnichannel supply‑chain network. This role sits at the intersection of transportation, finance and data analytics, turning large volumes of operational and financial data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own transportation budget execution, ensure accuracy, compliance and lead invoicing processes for high‑volume omnichannel flows.
• Maintain robust billing controls, resolve system and process issues, and manage freight payment reconciliations.
• Act as the primary contact for transportation spend and performance analytics; develop and maintain regional dashboards, scorecards and management decks.
• Drive data‑driven decision‑making, identify cost, service and efficiency improvement opportunities, and deliver financial performance reporting.
• Support projects by building data‑backed business cases, automating reports and partnering with technical teams to enhance data quality.
• Monitor key transportation KPIs (POD, lead times, cost, routing) and evolve metrics with a customer‑centric focus.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, supply chain or advanced analytics environments.
• Strong understanding of complex transportation and supply‑chain networks; e‑commerce or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated data analytics and financial acumen.
