Marketing Assistant (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to manage social media and website editing for a US‑based digital marketing agency’s diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical marketer with experience in WordPress, paid ads, and content creation for web and social channels. Beyond standard posting, you will perform digital audits and design promotional email campaigns while maintaining a professional brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Author high‑quality press releases, blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails that resonate with target audiences.
• Conduct digital audits to identify growth opportunities and refine client strategies.
• Create, design (via Canva) and schedule engaging content, including basic video editing and grammar checks.
• Perform basic edits on WordPress, Wix, and Shopify; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp for accuracy and conversion.
• Assist the supervisor with account management tasks and special projects.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns across Google and Facebook.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website editing, or digital marketing.
• Proficiency in Canva for design and video editing capabilities.
• Experience managing Google and Facebook Ads.
• Basic understanding of WordPress, Wix, and social media scheduling tools.
• Advanced English grammar and ability to author professional blogs and press releases.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
