Medical Enabler – Neurosciences
roche
Job description
About the role
Roche Pharma Chile is looking for a Medical Enabler for its Neuroscience therapeutic portfolio. You will act as the scientific authority and cross-functional orchestrator, spending about 50% of your time in proactive external field engagement: shaping clinical practice, partnering with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs), removing access barriers across the patient journey and driving evidence generation. You will also act as a servant leader (VACC), bridging clinical excellence with commercial, market access and regulatory strategies while upholding compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Own and lead high-impact non-promotional governance initiatives such as Medical Advisory Boards, Scientific Exchanges, Preceptorships, Local Access Models, Compassionate Use and Patient Support Programs
- Build peer-to-peer relationships with TAEs, clinical investigators and institutional stakeholders, and lead high-level scientific discussions on treatment paradigms and guidelines
- Connect clinical data with local reimbursement, formulary listings and health system funding, working with Market Access and commercial partners on clinical value packages and HTA arguments
- Drive the local Integrated Evidence Plan, support Real-World Evidence, Non-Interventional Studies and Investigator-Initiated Studies in compliance with GCP and local regulations
- Manage CRM data hygiene, document field insights, review educational grants and oversee AI-driven clinical information in line with GVP/GCC and GxP
- Foster psychological safety and continuous learning across Regulatory, Patient Access, Customer Facing and Pharmacovigilance teams without direct authority
Required profile
- University degree in Health or Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
- MD or advanced postgraduate degree (MSc, PhD or Healthcare Management) required
- At least 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or clinical customer-facing roles in pharma/biotech
- Solid experience in Neurosciences (Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Muscular Atrophy or related high-complexity neurological diseases); candidates with a proven track record of clinical ecosystem mobilization will be prioritized
- Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems, the patient journey, health economics/HTA and access pathways in Chile
- Advanced fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (mandatory for international congresses and regional interfaces)
