Medical Science Liaison – Oncology

About the role

Novartis is seeking an Oncology Medical Science Liaison to lead scientific engagement with key medical experts in Santiago, Chile. You will translate complex clinical data into clear insights that support the adoption of innovative oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with oncologists, healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Provide high‑quality scientific exchange, turning clinical data into actionable insights.
• Support market readiness and adoption of oncology therapies through targeted scientific engagement.
• Gather, synthesize and communicate field insights to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical, Commercial and other teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Identify and engage KOLs to drive scientific leadership and strategy.
• Deliver presentations and training on clinical and scientific data to internal and external audiences.
• Ensure all activities comply with Novartis policies and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Oncology (mandatory).
• Strong scientific background with the ability to interpret and communicate clinical data.
• Experience in medical affairs, MSL or related scientific roles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to collect, analyze and translate insights into recommendations.
• Fluent in English.
