Mid-level DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD

About the role

XeXe is rebuilding the platform that powers cross‑border payments for SMEs and consumers. We are looking for a mid‑level DevOps Engineer who will own end‑to‑end infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and incident response for production systems that move money.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate multi‑region AWS infrastructure, including Cognito, networking, IAM and disaster‑recovery.
• Own CI/CD pipeline reliability using GitHub Actions or equivalent, ensuring release gating, automation and safe rollbacks.
• Develop and maintain container orchestration platforms in production.
• Implement and manage observability, monitoring, SLOs and alerting for shared services.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response and post‑mortem analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to adopt AI‑accelerated developer tooling.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience building and operating production infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, especially multi‑region setups, IAM, networking and managed services.
• Proven track record of owning CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration in production.
• Experience with production observability, SLO definition and on‑call incident handling.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
