Patient Recruiter – Clinical Trial Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The Patient Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and guiding prospective participants through the clinical trial recruitment process. Working closely with Clinical Research Coordinators, investigators, and operational leadership, the recruiter ensures qualified participants are enrolled while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute patient outreach, pre‑screening, scheduling, and follow‑up in line with study protocols, GCP, and HIPAA.
• Maintain individual recruitment performance metrics such as outreach activity, qualified referrals, and enrollment contribution.
• Document recruitment activities, eligibility discussions, and patient communications in real time, protecting confidentiality and data integrity.
• Escalate recruitment barriers, patient concerns, or scheduling conflicts to support enrollment goals and study timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective participants, providing professional, respectful, and patient‑centered communication.
• Educate candidates about study expectations, participation requirements, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators and clinical staff to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to enrollment.
