People Leader

About the role

GHD is seeking a People Leader for its Santiago office to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives across the Chile region. You will partner with business leaders to shape people strategy, support rapid growth, and foster a positive organisational culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth‑focused people strategy aligned with the regional business plan.
• Design scalable HR processes and organisational structures for a fast‑growing workforce.
• Analyse talent data to identify training, learning and development priorities.
• Champion diversity and inclusion through collaboration with the Centre of Excellence and Employee Resource Groups.
• Provide coaching, performance management and career guidance to employees and leadership teams.
• Lead the local People team to meet KPIs, align processes with core values and monitor People metrics for continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Regional General Manager and Talent Acquisition on succession planning, workforce planning and staff retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in organisational development and leading HR functions during high‑growth periods.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate talent data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to build a positive organisational culture and promote diversity and inclusion.
• Excellent coaching and performance‑management capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset with experience influencing senior business leaders.
