Pharmaceutical Chemist – QA Analyst (Fixed Term)

About the role

UPS is hiring a pharmaceutical chemist to act as a Quality Assurance (QA) analyst in Santiago de Chile. The position inspects and reports on manufacturing quality, documents problems, rejections and other issues, drives process improvements and prepares quality reports. It is a fixed-term position, 100% onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and report on the quality of manufactured products
• Document problems, finishes, rejections and similar issues as needed
• Promote process changes so that quality standards are met
• Prepare reports and present the quality status and performance improvements
• Carry out other tasks as requested

Required profile

• Pharmaceutical chemist (exclusive requirement)
• At least 2 years of experience
• Knowledge of internal regulations and compliance
• Knowledge of storage and distribution regulations
• Ability to prepare talks and/or awareness programs

• Management and follow-up of documentation and controls
• Handling procedures, instructions and forms
• Technical knowledge of reviews and controls of controlled products
• Supplier management and follow-up
• Technical knowledge of analysis and research
