Phoenix Developer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Phoenix Developer to design and build high‑performance, concurrent backend systems using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to real‑time, scalable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Implement efficient data layers, manage migrations using Ecto and PostgreSQL.
• Build real‑time interactive features using Phoenix LiveView.
• Develop fault‑tolerant distributed systems employing OTP patterns and GenServers.
• Maintain high code quality and system performance following functional programming best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on functional programming.
• Proven experience building real‑time, concurrent backends using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Strong knowledge of Ecto, PostgreSQL, OTP, GenServers, and distributed system design.
• Experience with fault‑tolerant applications on the Erlang VM (BEAM).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
