Portfolio CEO – Renewable Energy Portfolio (Santiago)

About the role

The Portfolio CEO will lead delivery performance, governance and value creation for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ renewable energy infrastructure portfolio in Chile. Based in Santiago, this senior position reports to the fund manager and works across development, construction and operations phases.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for portfolio performance across scope, schedule, cost and HSE.
• Prioritise and lead multiple projects throughout their lifecycle stages.
• Serve as primary interface to advisory boards and CIP investment teams.
• Manage value‑creation activities such as PPAs, refinancing, contracting and O&M strategies.
• Allocate shared resources and oversee line‑management of Terra Technologies personnel in Chile.
• Engage with authorities, lenders, JV partners and contractors.
• Lead risk management, standardisation and portfolio synergies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in large‑scale infrastructure or renewable energy.
• Background operating in investor‑backed environments (funds, IPPs, developers or EPC platforms).
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse asset portfolio and set priorities across multiple holdings.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with board‑level communication experience.
• Capability to navigate complex stakeholder environments in both public and private sectors.
• Experience in international settings is preferred.
