Principal .NET Architect – Enterprise Integration & Azure

About the role

We are looking for a Principal .NET Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale integration platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic ownership, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern architecture standards for .NET‑based microservices and integration solutions.
• Design API ecosystems, RESTful services, and event‑driven architectures using DDD and EDA principles.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to model domains and translate requirements into technical designs.
• Review code, pull requests and ensure adherence to TDD, observability and security best practices.
• Drive AI adoption across teams, including Copilot integration and responsible LLM usage.
• Mentor engineers, influence engineering culture and remove technical blockers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior technical leadership or architecture roles.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale integration platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• .NET (C#), modern async patterns and large‑scale codebases.
• API design, OpenAPI, OAuth2, OIDC, API security and identity management.
• Domain‑Driven Design, Event‑Driven Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga patterns.
• Test‑Driven Development, microservices, distributed systems.
• Cloud‑native architecture on Microsoft Azure (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, AKS, Azure SQL, Application Insights, Azure AI Services).
• Observability tools: OpenTelemetry, logging, tracing, telemetry.
• AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot) and LLM integration.
