Processing Associate – Back‑Office Tax Support

About the role

The Processing Associate supports the back‑office operations of the Processing Department, working closely with Case Managers and Enrolled Agents. The role combines administrative duties with client‑focused outreach, including direct calls to the IRS to retrieve tax transcripts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Transcript Investigation (TI) calls for individual and business clients and log results in the CRM.
• Process Power of Attorney (POA) revocation requests and maintain accurate case files.
• Prepare, verify, and submit IRS Form 2848 (Power of Attorney) and Form 8821 (Tax Information Authorization).
• Retrieve taxpayer information transcripts from IRS databases and distribute them to the appropriate team members.
• Create, update, and disable scheduled alerts for deadlines, follow‑ups, and document reviews.
• Enter client and case data into relevant systems with high accuracy.

Required profile

• Valid Social Security Number and Dominican passport.
• Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective phone communication skills, especially for TI calls with IRS representatives.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Experience in data entry and back‑office operations; knowledge of tax processes is a plus.
