Project Manager – Critical Infrastructure (Data Center)

About the role
Join Tractebel’s international team as a Project Manager for critical infrastructure, focusing on data centre projects in the Santiago Metropolitan Area. You will act as the Owner’s Representative, steering project execution, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety standards, and contributing to the energy transition.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for owners and contractors, overseeing all project phases.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including construction managers, inspectors, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, HR, engineering, and commissioning.
- Assist the owner with contractual matters, schedule management, and milestone tracking.
- Identify and communicate project risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support procurement strategy, define scopes of work, and allocate responsibilities among contractors.
- Coordinate issue resolution across cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
- Facilitate regular project and construction follow‑up meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards and promote a positive work environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 15 + years of experience in construction‑related project management.
- Proven experience on critical infrastructure or data‑centre projects and other industrial facilities.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Santiago and ability to operate in multicultural, international settings.
Required skills
- Project Management (certification preferred).
- Construction Management and knowledge of construction sequencing.
- Procurement planning and execution.
- Budget and schedule control.
- Health & Safety compliance.
