Project Manager IV

About the role

Fluor is seeking a Project Manager IV to lead medium to large‑scale engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction projects for U.S. government clients. The role combines full‑cycle project management with proposal development responsibilities, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an execution framework that complies with contract terms and Fluor’s Operating System Requirements.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld in all project phases.
• Develop and manage project baselines, schedules, cost estimates, and commercial strategies.
• Oversee contract compliance, client reporting, and project close‑out activities.
• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including project organization and execution plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience (or 16 years without a degree).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing medium to large engineering or construction projects, preferably for government contracts.
