Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of vehicle supply chain activities for BYD in Chile. This role ensures inventory levels, logistics performance, and quality standards meet customer expectations while supporting sales, marketing, and after‑sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand and supply, supervise vehicle stock, and manage orders to China with strategic planning.
• Maintain vehicle inventory within target ranges to satisfy Chilean orders.
• Control logistics damage, file claims, and work with third‑party agencies to reduce losses.
• Coordinate support for product defects, repairs, and technical upgrades.
• Identify risks early and implement measures to avoid accidents, extra costs, or delays.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, and after‑sales to promote BYD products and strengthen brand influence.
• Manage relationships with compound and logistics partners, ensuring compliance with BYD standards.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly to improve satisfaction.
• Promote vehicle quality‑control processes and train staff on documentation.
• Develop departmental budgets, analyze KPIs, and make data‑driven decisions to improve profitability.
• Drive continuous innovation and define operational strategies for the automotive business.

Required profile

• Fluent English; Chinese is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
