Project Manager – Solar & Battery Energy Storage Projects

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Santiago, Chile. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams, aligning resources and schedules for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, and engineering teams to integrate all project variables.
• Develop technical scope, optimize feasibility, and manage engineering and procurement activities.
• Monitor productivity, safety, and compliance while resolving field issues and validating work quality.
• Track progress, mitigate risks, and report to management, ensuring budget and scope control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in engineering and construction of renewable energy projects, preferably utility‑scale.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Location: Santiago, Chile (CVs must be in English).

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Project management expertise in renewable energy or battery storage projects.
