Project Scheduler - Data Center Construction

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is looking for a Scheduler to join its team in Santiago. The ideal candidate has a track record of working on complex, large-scale construction projects, including data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the master plan schedule, preparing and monitoring tasks so project requirements are met on schedule.
• Integrate various contract packages into the master plan schedule.
• Review contractors' submitted schedules and recommend actions to the client.
• Prepare regular internal and external weekly and monthly progress reports for management and the client.
• Develop a project control procedure to monitor project progress.
• Verify project data with the contractor and update the schedule, develop mitigation plans, and assess contractor extension-of-time claims, including defense and recommendation reports.
• Analyze the critical path and constraints to understand the effect of changes, and prepare site logistics planning.
• Prepare and propose micro-management schedules for critical elements of work.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, focused on complex construction projects, with data center experience being mandatory.
• Experience coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and delivering project status reports for large-scale projects.
• Excellent command of English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build good working relationships with the project team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Master schedule preparation and analysis of critical path and constraints
