QA/QC & Construction Specialist – Energy Storage Projects

About the role

The QA/QC & Construction Specialist ensures safe, high‑quality installation and commissioning of Fluence energy storage systems. Working on‑site with customers, construction partners and internal teams, you will lead quality inspections, support technical installation activities and help deliver projects that meet Fluence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Fluence technical support resources when needed.
• Demonstrate and ensure safe operations during installation activities per the Safety Management Plan.
• Work closely with customers to provide timely, professional responses to installation needs.
• Support customer training during installation and quality inspection.
• Provide hands‑on technical support on‑site for Fluence Technical Bulletins.
• Assist the Support Quality/Construction Manager in managing third‑party installation contractors.
• Lead quality control activities for completed work according to the Quality Plan.
• Facilitate and participate in formal Fluence training through the CMMS LMS tool.
• Ensure active use of company policies and procedures such as Management of Change, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Inspection, Procurement, Peer Review and Benchmarking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Electrical/Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent technician qualification; a combination of experience and a 2‑year technical certificate is acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with battery storage system components, handling, storage, equipment installation, quality inspection, handover walk‑downs and punch‑list resolution.
• Experience in industrial electrical installation, AC‑DC equipment inspection, NCR resolution and RFI handling.
• Proficiency with Office 365, Salesforce, Netsuite and Fluence’s LMS platform.
