Rails Developer – Remote Full‑Stack Engineer

About the role

As a Rails Developer, you will lead full‑stack engineering efforts by owning the Rails backend and pairing it with modern frontend frameworks. You will connect robust server‑side logic with interactive user interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow and high‑performance application delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full‑stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React or Vue.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient communication between the frontend and backend.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code while implementing automated tests using RSpec.
• Manage data persistence and optimize complex queries within PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement asynchronous processing and background jobs to enhance system responsiveness and performance.
• Deploy and manage applications within AWS environments, ensuring reliable and secure cloud operations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Proven expertise in building full‑stack applications using Rails backends and React frontends.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and writing automated tests using RSpec.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS deployment and managing asynchronous processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and its application within modern web frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
