Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for attracting, screening, and supporting qualified Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. This role serves as an important point of contact for caregivers, ensuring a positive candidate experience while helping the agency maintain a strong and reliable caregiver workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to caregiver and applicant inquiries.
• Recruit and maintain a strong pool of qualified HHA and PCA caregivers based on agency staffing needs.
• Review applicants, conduct initial outreach and screening, and maintain timely follow‑up.
• Conduct caregiver welcome calls and explain pay, case preferences, required documentation, and onboarding next steps.
• Assist caregivers with questions and guide them through the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Track applicant and caregiver information, documentation, training, approvals, and follow‑up in agency systems.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate professionally with applicants, caregivers, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level or higher).
• Previous recruitment, staffing, home‑care, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, follow‑up, and computer skills.
• Detail‑oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
