Regional Inventory Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Inventory Specialist to support our region in analyzing, reporting and optimizing inventory processes across finished goods, raw materials and container movements. The role focuses on reducing supply chain overheads, improving container availability and managing impairment losses.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily inventory control cycles, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Track and monitor inventory postings, highlighting deviations and communicating them to stakeholders.
• Analyze packaging interface discrepancies and assist warehouse operations in resolving transfer variances.
• Produce weekly reports on supply chain overheads and present action plans with senior inventory analysts.
• Monitor demand changes and their impact on inventory holding, consolidating regional reports on container impairment losses.
• Conduct monthly obsolescence analysis and maintain inventory DPO processes, ensuring compliance with claims and invoice recovery.
• Audit inventory processes during monthly DC visits, testing controls and reviewing key performance indicators.
