Remote Marketing Assistant (Social Media & SEO)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support a US‑based digital marketing consultancy. The role focuses on managing social media channels, optimizing client websites, and creating high‑quality content that drives engagement and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Social Media Management: design and schedule posts using Canva, perform basic video editing, and ensure flawless grammar.
• Content & Copywriting: write press releases, blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails.
• Digital Auditing: conduct audits and produce reports identifying growth opportunities.
• Website & Directory Management: make basic edits on WordPress, Wix, Shopify and maintain Google Business Listings and Yelp profiles.
• SEO Optimization: improve on‑page SEO (meta tags, alt text), monitor site speed and user experience.
• Account Support: assist the supervisor with account tasks and special projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization, or digital marketing.
• Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Wix, Shopify and social media scheduling tools.
• Strong English grammar and ability to produce professional copy.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and excellent communication skills.
