Repair Service Manager

About the role

The Repair Service Manager will lead Olympus’s repair operations in Santiago, ensuring high‑quality medical device repairs, cost efficiency and compliance with global guidelines. The role focuses on optimizing workforce performance, maintaining transparency for customers and supporting patient care through reliable service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage repair leaders to follow Olympus Global Guidelines and align with service business strategy.
• Lead the repair team to improve performance, reduce turnover and ensure engagement.
• Prepare capacity plans and coordinate with HR and the General Manager to match repair demand with resources.
• Develop and monitor the repair site budget to meet service level agreements.
• Support Customer Service with detailed repair quotes and root‑cause analysis.
• Oversee skill‑map management, training planning and technical updates for the repair team and distributors.
• Coordinate inventory management, parts planning and stock availability for consumables and chemicals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Product Engineering a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and native‑level Spanish.
• Proficient user of Office 365 tools.
