Robotics Architect (Modelling & Simulation)

About the role

In this position you will join a long‑term initiative with a globally recognised industry leader, focusing on physical AI and multi‑fleet management for outdoor vehicles. The role sits at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence and real‑world hardware, delivering solutions that move from simulation to practical deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and work with digital twins of real systems.
• Lead process modelling and optimisation for robotics and industrial applications.
• Design, prototype and deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Test solutions in both simulated environments and real‑world settings.
• Create automated robotic systems to improve production precision.
• Research and apply the latest approaches in control, motion planning, sensing and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including system programming and real‑time systems.
• Proven expertise in modelling continuous, discrete and event‑driven systems.
• Strong background in physics‑based simulation and optimisation.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and distributed control systems.
• Familiarity with testing practices, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring of complex systems.
