SAP Consultant – Document & Reporting Compliance

About the role

EPAM is seeking a SAP Consultant specialized in Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) to configure and maintain SAP S/4HANA DRC solutions for electronic invoicing and statutory reporting. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and audit‑ready compliance across releases.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and tailor SAP S/4HANA DRC to deliver end‑to‑end e‑invoicing for a specific country/region.
• Maintain country‑specific DRC setup, including compliance reporting framework, company code assignment, and business function activation.
• Set up e‑document types, mappings, output determination, and message control.
• Maintain XML schemas and format mappings, and establish communication with SAP Cloud Integration for tax authority connections.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify financial requirements and translate technical concepts for non‑technical users.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and align solutions with SAP Finance best practices.
• Document configurations, support UAT, and ensure minimal defects within project timelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development or SAP consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of parallel accounting using a ledgers‑based approach.
• Deep expertise in DRC functionality, e‑invoicing, and local reporting configuration.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
