About the role

Chartwell International School Chile is looking for enthusiastic secondary school teachers to deliver IGCSE and UK National Curriculum programmes. The successful candidate will join a supportive community that values evidence‑based teaching, high expectations and student well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver sequenced lessons that build on prior knowledge and align with curriculum objectives.
• Maintain clear classroom routines, manage behaviour, and maximise instructional time.
• Foster positive student relationships and create a respectful, motivating learning environment.
• Use retrieval practice, guided practice and independent tasks to embed learning.
• Employ effective questioning techniques to develop critical thinking and communication skills.

Required profile

• Fluent in English at an advanced or native level.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to anticipate misconceptions.
• Commitment to research‑informed teaching practices and student well‑being.
• Experience teaching IGCSE or the UK National Curriculum is preferred.
