Senior Accountant – German Speaker (Remote, Chile)

About the role

This senior accounting position is focused on managing operational finance for multiple international entities within a fast‑scaling SaaS business. The role is remote‑first and based in Chile, requiring fluency in German to support cross‑border communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting across several entities, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, revenue recognition, billing and tax activities.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of balance‑sheet accounts and compliance with documentation standards.
• Prepare financial reporting, analysis and commentary, supporting group‑level consolidation and monthly close.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, audits and statutory filings such as VAT, sales tax and GST.
• Support international tax matters, intercompany transactions and cross‑border financial operations.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting policies, systems, processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years using NetSuite.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology‑driven environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proven track record supporting annual audits and financial reporting cycles.
• Excellent analytical, structured and detail‑oriented working style with ability to meet strict deadlines.
