Senior Accountant

About the role

Energy Exploration Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the preparation of monthly financial reports, maintain robust accounting records, and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. You will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting, tax, and audit processes while driving improvements in financial accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and chart of accounts.
• Implement and monitor internal controls over accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of major general‑ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes, reporting methodologies, and data accuracy.
• Verify financial information quality under IFRS standards.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Prepare regulatory compliance reports, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting and balance‑sheet analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Commercial Engineering, or Administration.
• 5–10 years of experience in multinational companies handling full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial statements, and tax regulations.
• Advanced written and oral English proficiency.
