Senior Accountant – Remote (US Accounting)

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will support a financial‑services client by owning the full accounting operation. You’ll ensure compliance with U.S. standards, deliver accurate financial reporting and provide insights that drive sound business decisions—all in a fully remote, fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for U.S.‑based clients, including reconciliations, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Apply startup accounting principles to balance best practices with limited resources and shifting priorities.
• Integrate and optimise external applications with QuickBooks Online to streamline processes.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management and vendor/client interactions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S. companies; CPA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders, preferably from public accounting or client‑facing roles.
• Experience making sound financial judgments in fast‑paced, less‑structured environments.
