Senior Consultant – Procurement Transformation

About the role

GEP is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead procurement transformation projects for large organisations in Chile. The role combines strategic design, process optimisation and technology adoption, working closely with client procurement leaders and senior finance executives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on procurement operating model redesign, category strategy and source‑to‑pay optimisation.
• Define current‑state pain points, design future‑state processes and manage implementation road‑maps with client PMOs.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with procurement heads, CFOs and business unit leaders; facilitate workshops and present findings to senior audiences.
• Own project tracking, risk and issue logs, status reporting and milestone management.
• Conduct spend analytics, supplier segmentation and savings assessments using Power BI, Tableau or Excel; create executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.
• Map and redesign S2P, contract management and supplier onboarding processes, identifying automation opportunities.
• Support GEP SMART configuration and adoption, and contribute to RFP responses and business development activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in procurement consulting or transformation projects.
• Native Spanish speaker with B2+ English (C1 preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and occasionally across Latin America.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
