Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Kubernetes to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based engagements. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain deployment automation for containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage service lifecycles, monitoring, and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Configure DNS architecture, email infrastructure (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and secure communications (PKI, TLS).
• Develop and support web‑scraping, content‑generation, and data‑transformation pipelines.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Contribute to backend services written in Go, Python, Java, or related languages.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and work in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking).
• Container technologies (Docker or equivalent).
• Grafana, Prometheus, or comparable monitoring solutions.
• AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
• Go, Python, Java.
• Linux system administration and networking.
• DNS architecture, authoritative DNS servers, zone delegation.
• SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration.
• REST APIs, service orchestration, distributed systems.
• PKI, TLS certificates, secure communication protocols.
• Cybersecurity concepts, red‑team infrastructure (highly desirable).
